Director & Principal PsychologistAvailability: Jade is not currently accepting new booking requests.
Jade is a registered psychologist with a Master’s degree in Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychological Science with First Class Honours.
She is a warm, collaborative practitioner with a special interest in the areas of child, adolescent and perinatal psychology. Jade also provides psychological assessment and treatment across the lifespan.
Jade takes a creative and holistic approach to working with clients. She works from a positive psychology approach and employs a variety of evidence-based therapies to optimise outcomes including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focussed CBT, Mindfulness based and Play Therapy interventions.
Jade is fully registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and regulated by the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi).
In her down time, Jade enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children, swimming and trying to bake!

Operations ManagerAvailability: Maddison is available on Monday to Wednesday at Tweed Heads for limited appointment spaces.
Maddison is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Maddison has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science with Second Class Honours. Maddison is also a Board Approved Supervisor with AHPRA.
Maddison has experience working across the lifespan and takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to therapy. She has a specific interest in Animal-Assisted Therapies and Interventions, having completed a Clinical Therapy Dog course with her dog, Maple, a 5-year old American Staffy (Therapy Dogs Australia).
Maddison supports the team at Little Souls as both an Operations Manager and Supervisor for our psychology team.
In her downtime, Maddison loves spending time with her husband, kids, and Maple (therapy dog) in the sunshine at the beach.

Registered Psychologist

Chelsie Priestley is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). She is accredited with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours Class I) from Deakin University in Melbourne.
Chelsie has a wealth of experience working with young people and is highly passionate about supporting them to achieve their therapy goals. Chelsie believes in building a strong rapport with clients to help them feel safe and supported during their appointments.
Chelsie employs techniques from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, and Play Therapy.
Chelsie is particularly interested in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, stress, adjustment difficulties, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Outside of work, Chelsie enjoys being active and outdoors with her family and dog.

Availability: Tuesday to Thursday at Tweed Heads.Holly is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). Holly holds a Master of Professional Psychology from Bond University and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (with Honours) from Southern Cross University. She is also an Associate Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPI) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Holly has a strong passion for working with children, adolescents, and families, supporting them through key life changes. She is dedicated to fostering self-confidence, self-esteem, and resilience in young individuals as they navigate age-related challenges. With a focus on building independence, learning strategies, and developing meaningful skills, Holly supports both children and teens as they navigate emotional regulation, behavioural concerns and friendship dynamics. She also provides guidance for coping with bullying and other social pressures, creating a safe and supportive space for individuals to thrive.
Holly takes a non-judgmental, compassionate approach to therapy, ensuring that every individual feels heard, valued, and supported. Trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a particular interest in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and play-based approaches, Holly integrates a combination of techniques to create personalised strategies for lasting change.
Holly also offers psychological assessments and therapeutic support for a range of concerns, including neurodivergent presentations (ADHD, ASD), cognitive or learning difficulties, emotional or behavioural challenges, and anxiety and depression. Holly focuses on a collaborative approach with parents and families to promote positive outcomes.Holly is also actively involved with the Little Souls Team as our Operations Manager.
Outside of work, Holly enjoys staying active through exercise, exploring new local experiences and spending quality time with her fiancé, family, and friends.

Mikaela has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Mikaela has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of presenting concerns related to anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD.
Mikaela seeks to provide a warm and empathetic environment where clients feel validated and supported, with an emphasis on maintaining a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients and their families. In therapy, Mikaela utilises an evidence-based approach, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness to help clients achieve their goals.
In her spare time, Mikaela likes to take her dog to the beach, cook a new recipe, and spend quality time with her friends and family.

General Psychologist
Availability: Tuesday to Friday at Tweed Heads.Leona completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Queensland in 2016, followed by a Master of Professional Psychology from Bond University in 2024.
Leona is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She is also an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi). Completing her studies also required balancing full-time study with her step-mum and pet-mum life.
With a background in physical health, rehabilitation, and fitness, Leona has worked as a physiotherapy assistant, personal trainer, and Pilates instructor. This experience has fostered a strong interest in the holistic health model, particularly the mind-body connection - where thoughts, emotions, and behaviours influence physical health, and physical conditions impact mental well-being. Leona is passionate about the positive role regular physical activity plays in enhancing mental health, physical wellbeing, and overall quality of life.
Leona’s work spans across the lifespan, and she takes a collaborative approach with caregivers and families to support therapeutic progress. Her warm, caring attitude is complemented by a playful, “silly” side, which helps her to build strong, trusting relationships - especially in play therapy settings.
Leona is dedicated to helping clients build resilience, particularly when navigating life changes and milestones. Leona uses evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness, to help clients reach their goals. She also offers psychological assessments and treatment across various age groups.With both personal and professional experience supporting neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, ASD), Leona has a special interest in strategies for managing emotional and behavioural challenges, anxiety and depression, and cognitive or learning difficulties.
Outside of work Leona enjoys being outdoors: hiking, mountain biking, or taking her English Bulldog (Betty Boop) to the beach.

Issy has completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science and Graduate Diploma of Psychology and is provisionally registered with AHPRA.
Issy’s experience facilitating creative group workshops for all ages, nature immersive experiences for children and as a skateboard instructor for children, youth and adults has been informed by the evidence-based therapeutic benefits of somatic and eco-psychology.
In session, Issy’s warm and positive approach helps build trusting relationships with clients and their broader support networks, whilst drawing on CBT, ACT and mindfulness practices to support clients with pragmatic strategies to implement in everyday life.
In her spare time, Issy will be surfing or skating with friends, on a creative spree, or somewhere green and out of reception.

Provisional Psychologist
Availability: Tuesday to Thursday at Tweed Heads. Josh will be accepting bookings from July 2026.Josh is a provisional psychologist currently completing his second year of the Master of Clinical Psychology. He has completed a Bachelor of Psychology with first class Honours in 2024 at Griffith University. Since then, Josh has gained experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across both private practice and inpatient mental health settings.
Josh has a particular interest in supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate the challenges and transitions that come with growing up, including identity development, emotional regulation, friendships, self-esteem, anxiety, and life stressors. He is especially passionate about facilitating therapy groups, and also creating spaces where individuals feel understood, connected, and supported in therapy. Josh also has a strong interest in working with neurodivergent individuals and supporting families through collaborative, strengths-based care.
Josh takes a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental approach to therapy, with a strong focus on creating a safe space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. He values building authentic therapeutic relationships and tailoring intervention strategies to each individual’s unique needs, goals, and experiences.
Josh draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), parent training and behaviour management strategies, and parts work approaches.
Outside of work, Josh can usually be found somewhere between a coffee-catchup with friends, the gym, or the beach. He enjoys staying active, trying new cafe’s/restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family. Known for bringing warmth, humour, and energy into the spaces he’s in, Josh values genuine connection and making the most of life’s little moments.

Jas draws on evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support presentations such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, social and friendship difficulties, and adjustment to life changes.
Jas has a particular interest in conducting assessments with children and their families and values the opportunity to develop a clear understanding of each child’s unique strengths and support needs, so they can access appropriate interventions and supports.

She has completed a Master of Professional Psychology and holds a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice, as well as a Bachelor of Psychological Science. Amy is an Associate Member of both the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (APPi).
Amy has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents, taking a strengths-based and neuro-affirming approach to therapy. She values building meaningful therapeutic relationships and supporting young people in developing practical and helpful skills. Amy aims to create a warm, supportive, and empathetic environment where clients feel safe, heard and understood.
She draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness, to support children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment to life changes, and self-esteem challenges.

Tahra is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society. With experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan in treating a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Tahra is dedicated to creating a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel validated and supported. By prioritizing strong, collaborative therapeutic relationships with both clients and their families, she ensures that each individual’s unique needs are met. In therapy, Tahra employs a range of evidence-based interventions tailored to the specific goals and challenges of the client.
Drawing on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Tahra helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and develop healthier, more adaptive ways of thinking and behaving. With Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), she supports clients in fostering psychological flexibility, encouraging them to accept difficult emotions and commit to actions that align with their personal values. Additionally, mindfulness techniques are integrated into treatment to help clients increase their awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, and build resilience to life's challenges.

Jade is a qualified Occupational Therapist having completed her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy at Griffith University. Jade has experience working with children across all ages. She has a particular interest in working with upper primary school aged children to teenaged clients and loves facilitating teen group interventions.
Jade has completed training in and is passionate about using the Cognitive Orientation to Occupational Performance (CO-OP) approach to support her clients to set goals and develop problem-solving skills to achieve their desired goals. She strongly believes in using a client-centred and family-centred approach to practice to provide the best possible outcomes of therapy.
In her downtime, Jade enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising, and playing with her dog, Barkley.

Occupational Therapist
Availability: Monday to Thursday at Tweed Heads and surrounding areas.
Tori has recently completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University. She joined the team at Little Souls Wellness Centre as an Allied Health Assistant, working under the supervision of experienced Occupational Therapists. As she approaches the completion of her studies, Tori is looking forward to transitioning into a new graduate role in late 2024.
Tori has completed all clinical placements, gaining hands-on experience in supporting clients and families. Tori has experience working outside-of-hours school care, where she organised activities to promote engagement, social interaction, and overall development amongst children. This experience sparked her passion for working with children of all ages. Tori is dedicated to empowering clients to achieve their full potential and become the best version of themselves.

Kali is a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist who completed her bachelor's degree at Griffith University.
Kali is also trained as a Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Feeding Therapist. Kali is fully registered with the Australian Practitioner Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Kali is passionate about supporting young children and their families to achieve their full potential by endorsing a fun, collaborative and holistic approach to therapy.
Kali provides tailored intervention programs focusing on increasing independence with self-care tasks, improving fine and gross motor skills, teaching social skills, supporting emotional regulation as well as handwriting and sensory processing.
Outside of work, Kali enjoys spending time with family and friends, coffee and going to the gym.

Jessica has completed her Bachelors of Health Science in Occupational Therapy at Auckland University of Technology.
Jessica has experience working with children and their families to support them in early intervention, assessment and transitioning to school. Her focus in therapy is play-based, and finding moments for laughter and fun whilst creating a space for learning. Jessica's skills lie in assisting in self-care management, emotional regulation, sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills and developing handwriting.

Sophie is a registered Occupational Therapist from the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Sophie shares a special interest in working with children, adolescents and mothers as they transition through birth into motherhood. Sophie aims to deliver creative and evidence-based care utilising a family-centered and holistic approach.
As an Occupational Therapist Sophie strives to empower individuals to engage in meaningful activities to enhance social, emotional and functional wellness.
Sophie aims to identify areas of need utilising direct-observations, standardised assessment tools and play-based interventions to improve daily functioning.
Sophie endeavours to assist children in developing skills in areas of self-care, sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, school, self-regulation, social skills and play to increase participation and independence.
Sophie is fully registered with Australian Practitioner Health Regulation Agency (APHRA) and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA).

Kate is a registered Occupational Therapist, from Southern Cross University, Gold Coast. Her passion lies in working closely with children, adolescents, and their families.
Embracing a holistic approach, Kate is dedicated to offering children, adolescents and their families valuable support through evidence-based therapy and purposeful activities. Her primary objective as an Occupational Therapist is to empower children, promoting their independence and overall well-being. This encompasses a wide spectrum of skills, including self-care, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor abilities, school and school readiness, sensory processing, and various aspects of daily living.

Senior Occupational TherapistAvailability: Monday to Wednesday at Bangalow.
Chris has worked as an Occupational Therapist with both children and adults since graduating in 2002. She is interested in the brain and body connection, and providing Occupational Therapy treatment using a “bottom-up” approach.
This involves developing strong brain and sensory foundations to ensure a child has a solid base on which to build their other skills including fine and gross motor, social, emotional regulation and executive function. Intervention targets reflex integration, brain balance, sensory processing and nervous system regulation through play and parent education.
Chris enjoys keeping up with the latest professional development. She is a certified Safe and Sound protocol practitioner based on the Polyvagal theory, and is currently studying Dr Melillo’s Childhood Neurodevelopmental Certification course to become a Melillo Method certified practitioner.
In her downtime Chris enjoys spending time in nature, surfing, reading a good book and gathering with friends and family to eat and laugh around a fire.

Brie’s previous experience as a qualified educator has deepened her knowledge and understanding of childhood development. By gaining these skills, she wishes to provide an enriched experience with evidence-based therapy. Through ensuring a client centred approach, Brie enjoys working with families to best support positive wellbeing, gaining independence and building skills around activities of daily living. Brie’s passion for quality of life ultimately underpins her drive for holistic and personalised therapy plans.

Shannon is a Speech Pathologist and certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. She completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) degree at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, and has worked in the field in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
As a Speech Pathologist, Shannon believes in fostering an emotionally safe and warm space for children/youth and their families in order to support each individual on their communication journey.
She enjoys multidisciplinary collaboration and utilising holistic approaches to make outcomes meaningful in everyday life. Play is integral in Shannon’s sessions with children, as both a learning tool and a motivator, with intervention being family-centred, evidence based, strengths based and shaped by collaborative goal setting.
Shannon has experience working in the areas of speech, language, literacy, fluency, and pragmatics (social communication). She has worked with children and adolescents with a range of developmental differences, including Global Developmental Delay, Autism, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), as well as those who use or may benefit from augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) in the early stages. Shannon is committed to supporting individuals in a way that values and embraces neurodiversity, recognising the strengths and unique needs of each individual.

Lucy is a certified Speech Pathologist, and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honours) and a Master of Speech and Language Pathology through the University of Sydney.
Through her various placement experiences, Lucy has developed a keen interest in working with children across all ages. As a speech pathologist, Lucy strives to work collaboratively with children and their families to deliver fun and evidence-based therapy sessions in order to help her clients achieve their communication goals and reach their full potential.
Lucy is passionate about helping families and individuals feel empowered and supported. She believes in taking a creative and family-centred approach to intervention ensuring that therapy is tailored to the specific needs and strengths of each individual.

Chloe is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Speech Pathology, both completed at Griffith University.
Chloe brings experience across a range of areas including speech, language, literacy, and social communication, with a particular passion for early language development. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, high-quality therapy that is tailored to each child’s individual strengths and needs. Chloe is trained in the Hanen Program for early language intervention and the Spalding Method for literacy, which further support her ability to deliver effective, individualised therapy.
Chloe takes a warm, holistic, and family-centred approach to her work, believing that the best outcomes are achieved when families are actively involved in the therapy process. She strives to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel confident to grow, learn, and reach their full communication potential.

Brooke is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and a member of Speech Pathology Australia. Brooke has completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Newcastle.
Brooke is passionate about working with children and adolescents to deliver individualised and effective therapy. Through a collaborative approach with families, Brooke creates a warm and supportive environment that engages children and supports them in achieving improved communication.
Brooke provides support across the areas of speech, language, literacy, feeding, and stuttering. Brooke has a special interest in working with children with motor speech disorders, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), and has completed training in therapy approaches including REST, DTTC, and PROMPT. Brooke is also trained in DIR Floortime and Shape Coding language intervention. Brooke enjoys working with feeding difficulties and is an SOS Feeding Therapist.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys playing soccer, going for runs along the beach, and cooking new recipes.

Sophie completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at the University of Newcastle and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. She has experience across a range of practice areas, including language, literacy, fluency, and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), with a particular interest in the treatment of speech sound difficulties and disorders. Sophie is trained in both Hanen It Takes Two to Talk and the Lidcombe Program for stuttering.
Passionate about the provision of effective, evidence-based assessment and intervention, Sophie aims to deliver services which are meaningful and tailored to the unique needs of each child and their family. She takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach, valuing and respecting each child’s individual strengths, differences, and communication style.
Building warm, trusting relationships with children and their families is central to Sophie’s practice. She values close collaboration with parents and caregivers, ensuring that they feel heard, empowered, and actively involved throughout each stage of their child’s communication journey, and is committed to helping children achieve functional, real-world outcomes.
Sophie strives to create therapy sessions that are engaging, motivating, and confidence-building, and provides a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment in which children feel supported as they work towards their communication goals.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys heading out for a coffee, keeping active, and spending time with friends and family.

Claudia completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Southern Cross University, and is a registered practitioner with Speech Pathology Australia.
Throughout her previous career, she has worked in Early Childhood settings, with experience supporting both preschool-aged and early primary school-aged children. Claudia is passionate about working with children across all ages, providing a family-centred approach to ensure her clients and families are achieving their goals. Claudia strives to deliver fun, interest-based and evidence-based therapy sessions.
In her spare time, Claudia enjoys spending time on her farm, working on her veggie garden and taking her dogs for a walk on the beach with her husband.

She enjoys creating therapy experiences that are fun, functional, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths.
Outside of work, Paris loves spending time at the beach and taking her dog, Posie, out for a morning coffee.

Kristi is an Accredited Practising Dietician with a Bachelor of Nutrition & Dietetics. Kristi's experience ranges across ages, with a special interest in paediatric nutrition.
Kristi takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to nutrition and is passionate about working with families to set achievable goals to support your child's nutrition and eating behaviours. Kristi believes that good nutrition and a positive relationship with food is so important for ensuring little ones grow to be healthy and reach their full potential.

Shona is a friendly and creative teacher with an interest in early childhood education and care. She has a passion for encouraging little learners to develop their independence and resilience through a warm and supportive learning environment.
Shona has a particular interest in differentiating learning activities to enhance and cater to all types of students in her care and has developed individualised learning plans to both support and extend students.
Since completing her Bachelor of Primary Education in 2012, Shona has taught in various year levels from Preschool to Year 6, positively developing the minds of hundreds of little learners. In this time, she also completed her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Shona is available for school readiness support, private tutoring, support work and educational counselling.
Shona enjoys spending time with her partner and their baby boy, as well as hanging out with her niece and nephew, Jade’s kiddies!
